MINSTRELS COMING.
from the Evening Guide June 5, 1908
Prepare to shelve melancholia, and get your laughing apparatus in working order, for those funny, funny fellows, The Minstels are coming to town, and this time it is the largest one on the road, Richard's & Pringle's; guess you know them, for they have been coming here for years.
Don't wait now until the last minute to get your tickets and then meet with disappointment, because you remember perhaps what a bumper house they drew last time they were here, and the crowds they turned away. Maybe you were one of the disappointed ones. Then, if so, profit from your experience, and buy your seats early; they were placed on sale this morning. They have a big troupe this year, forty people.
There will be a big parade at noon, and unless you watch yourself the band will make you forget your dinner, because it's the best ever. - Tuesday, June 16th is the date for their appearance at the Grand Opera House.
