Form News 9T is a very happy class. After the bell goes at 9 o'clock and Mr Price has everyone in the room, Bryon Knox starts telling Wayne Leach about the girls he has been talking to and Wayne L in turn tells Bryon K whom he went to the show with. When we move to our first class Robert Young starts talking out of turn and gets a detention but our shy little Ken Moore doesn't say anything. Friday Morning we have geography first period and Mrs Ford asks Don Walker a question, and he in return tells her a fairy tale about what happened at home on the farm. After we get Ken Yeo to stop his giggling he gets a detention for not doing his homework. Glen Rundle doesn't talk out of turn, but when he says something we usually have a good laugh. When Rod Irwin is finished arguing with the teacher and loses he is usually grumpy and takes it out on someone smaller than himself. Our geography teacher usually warns Allan Smith and Ferdy Verleysen for not getting into class discussions. When we move to PHE we have a good laugh with Dave McBride for showing off and David Thickson for showing everyone how to play Basketball. After lunch we have to put up with John Purdy and his know-how and Terry Myles beef in Science where John Muldrew and Bruce Hennsly teach a lesson. Lorne Lingard sets up the apparatus and Glen Haase complains he can't do it. In English class Louis Van Houten complains to Mr Setterington because he left his book in his locker. Lonney Osland cracks a few jokes and Bob Rosniak adds his two cents worth then we settle down to work. Larry Lennan only comes to class about once a month and he is teased about his fishing. Doug Walker always says he hates school and classes are too long. Roger Macduff ends the day by telling us about all the beautiful girls in Newcastle. Ferdy Verleysen |
