Form News The new day opens bright and clear with our form teacher, Miss Pochon, telling us to be quiet as Mr Bigelow's voice booms over the PA. The first class, for most of us, begins in the art room with Mr Wild. Fay Barkwell and Lynn Gaffield are discussing their weekend. Linda Osland is dreaming of Willy who is in Electrical Shop dreaming of Linda. We move now to Geometry, where the boys are given an eye-opener as Miss Collyer enters the room. Bill and Greg are Miss Brownie's favourites because they always have their homework done - don't they! Christopher Jemmett is arguing about a small point in her English class and is vainly trying to get his horse into a descriptive paragraph of a cold winter's day. Frances always has the answers Mr Gourley likes in Physics. Lynn Cameron is the kingpin in the Dramatic Club. Judy, Bonny, Gail, Shirley and Sandra are the experts in the Home Economics class. Joanne Davey is busy convincing Mr McLean that it was King David who led 5,000 men overland to India, instead of Alexander the Great. John H, Jacques and Doug are whizzes at skipping Mr Mumby's study period and he's just as good at catching up with them. The day ends and the teachers of 11F might be left in a sad state of insanity if it weren't for John Wright, who can even make a rainy day into a sunny vacation with his hilarious jokes. |
