Form News
I am here to tell you of a typical Tuesday with 10J, a small class that lacks only one thing, girls.
At nine o'clock we are in our home-room with Mr Jolly and stay there for our first period, typing, where Theo Gerrits and Glen McQuaid work busily while Tom Perrin, R McConville and Jake Van Dam struggle through.
Next we go downstairs to Room 140 with Mr Match for Math where we can usually expect an argument from someone, especially Pete Lesage or J Zweerink, however, Mr Match seems to always come out the winner.
PHE is third, where Howard Parry our AA rep and Jim Geddis show their skill in gymnastics.
Our fourth period is Science with Mr Harrison where the class patiently waits for an opportunity to do an experiment.
The fifth period is our favourite and we all make a mad dash for the cafeteria.
We are all back from dinner and ready for action at 12:30 when we begin three periods of wood shop. Bill Williams and Ron Lang, our Cadets work eagerly at their projects while Bill Plancke is content to watch.
Our final period of the day is English with Mrs Quinn where Brian Stewart answers most of the questions.
Finally it is 3:30 and class is dismissed.
I hope this has given you an example of a typical day in our class of 10J.
