Form News
Another hectic day in the life of the notorious 10C.
Have you ever seen a bunch of juvenile delinquents saunter in late for their daily 'Pater Noster'? It seems that Bonny Scott, our hayride girl, Joan Lewis, our basketball and volleyball captain, and Lyn Elliott and Janis Pethick, our cheerleaders, always manage.
As we advance to first class, from the end of the line can be heard a constant buzz from Diana Frederick, vice-president of the Sketch Club, Donna Runnett a cheerleader, Barb Yates, dramatic representatives and volleyball player, and Philip Niblett, who are our comical dramatists.
Derek Paul, dramatic representative and librarian and lan Wright, cadet corporal and football player, are cherishing the thought of getting through a class without troubling their favourite teacher, Miss Donoghue. While Peter Lingard, cadet corporal, is busy denouncing the rights of women to his fellow students, Marguerite is entranced with a photo of her latest love.
All the while Paul Everett, football player, sergeant major and BAA rep, and Robert Creighton, our lone sea cadet, have been getting up enough courage to come into class and face the school day. They detest being on time.
Philip, Pauline Hepburn and Suzanne Plousos, our gym club students, are doing their morning calisthenics while Sally Armstrong, our GAA rep, and sub-captain of the victorious intramural volleyball team, is trying to sell a toque to Debbie or Diana, our horselovers.
The bell rings. There is complete havoc. Ed Snell, Music Council rep manages to get a word in about the May Musicale. Our musicians Linda Burgess, Charles Bayliff, a basketball player, and Philip join in.
Complete silence, then Bonnie has her commercial. This time it's the Student Art Show. Brooks, a cadet, Bill McCreery, Students' Council rep and David Gladwin aid Bonnie with a big clap.
All this time the sensible students of the class, Charles Bray, debating society, Lyn Keeler, librarian and Joanne Stevenson, Sketch Club Treasurer, are calmly discussing how to reform the class.
As everyone knows, most of all Mr Wild, we don't need to be reformed because 10C IS THE GREATEST!
