Port Hope's intermediate and ladies synchronized swim club is pictured here during a practice session at the Sports Complex.

The members of the Port Hope Synchro club are putting in extra energy and hours these days in preparation of a competition in Orillia, Ont.
Each girl is selecting her music and making up her own individual routine. There are twenty-two members of the Port Hope Club, 4 juniors, 8 intermediates and 10 ladies.
The draw was made last night on tickets recently sold. Prizes were gift certificates redeemable at Sommerville Sporting Goods.
1st prize was won by Marg McElroy, Victoria St. Port Hope.
2nd prize by Ben Sholtes, Bewdley.
3rd prize by Lea Wildie, King St., Cobourg. Approximately $200 was made by the club in ticket sales.
The draw was made by Rick Owen and Anna Marie Hosking won a Synchro Club T-shirt for selling the most tickets.
The Orillia Synchronized Swim Club will be coming to Port Hope for a return competition in April.
The Port Hope Club is also planning their second annual swim show at the Sports Complex probably on Saturday, May 15th at 7:30 p.m.
The theme of the show will be "Movies".
