Form News
In 9A we have what is laughingly termed the 'executives'. These are the people who were unlucky enough to get roped into what they are now doing. These are, of course, the authors of what you are reading now Janet C and Neil M.
Our dramatic society reps, are Judy W and Jeff C with Elizabeth W and Jeff in the school play 'Dear Brutus'.
The GAA and BAA are well represented by Nancy D and Garth J.
Elizabeth W (of the VUP'S) and David R (of the CCC's) were close contenders for the position of Students Council Rep, but Liz, being of the weaker sex, won and is now our illustrious representative.
Steven R follows a close second to Elizabeth K for academic leadership and Steve is also our Press Club Rep.
David M and Stephen L are two prime suspects for lending joy to our quiet (HA! HA!) classes.
Keeping up with the athletic schedule we have David J, Garth J for football, and Bill A, Chris S and Jim O for basketball with David R for nearly everything. Our class volleyball team, which won the pennant, has Eileen, Marilyn, Gwen A, Liz W and Anne headed by their great Captain Nancy D.
Karen S usually has her homework done a week in advance. We have a rare find in Ian, our class poetry lover. We also have a few of the quiet type in Gwen F and her close friend Joan. They're usually found together, as are Judy and Janice. Moira, Linda, Nancy W and Bruce seem to keep to themselves but their marks really show it. Bernice, John and Gail are three of our country cousins and sometimes you'd think Denis was also with his love for horses.
Mrs Anderson, our favourite homeroom teacher, has the difficult job of getting us all in our seats and quiet before announcements each morning, a real favourite at PHHS.
Well that's our group, we have some quiet, some noisy, some neither, but through the halls of Port Hope High you'll always hear the joyous cry: Long Live 9A!
