Grade 12G Commercial
   

CAROL ABBOTT
Came to the Special Commercial course from Millbrook High School. She was active in the Drama Club and was a cheerleader. After graduation she plans to work as a secretary in Toronto.
   
NELDA ACKLAND
Has contributed much to school spirit. Last year she was a GAA Rep and this year her mind is on her work and she is doing well in it.
   
JULIE ARMSTRONG
Came from Millbrook High School this year where she served on the Students' Council for two years. After graduating she hopes to work in Peterborough.
   
PENNY BARR
Has been a member of our class volleyball and basketball teams. She plans to work in an office as a secretary; she will be an asset in the work she does in an office.
   
MARILYN CLARK
Is rather quiet in the class room, but very active in intramural volleyball and basketball. Marilyn plans to work in Port Hope or Oshawa.
   
SHIRLEY CLARKE
Was on the '63 school volleyball team and has taken part in the referee clinic. She is quiet in the class and she seems to enjoy her work.
   
SANDRA CROSS
Is one of the tiny members of our class but she is a big help. Sandra was a member of the Blue 'n' White staff in the past year. After graduating she plans to work in an office.
   
TOM CUFFE
Has only been with us for a short time, but he has made many contributions to cafeteria duty. However he left this year for greener fields.
   
MICHAEL DUCK
Originates from Brighton. This year he was on the football team and a great hero to the girls of PHHS.
   
PAT DUCK
Joined us two years ago from Brighton and has been an active member of the basketball and volleyball teams. Her aim is to become a secretary in one of our local offices. We wish her the best of luck in her future career.
   
SHIRLEY DUNDAS
Is an active member of 12G and has played on our Intermural teams. She is always trying for a better speed in her typing and shorthand as her aim to be is a lawyer's secretary.
   
SHIRLEY ANNE ELGAR
Shirley came to Port Hope from Millbrook High School. Through her years in school she spent considerable time in the Drama Club and she was also a cheerleader. Shirley is planning to work in Toronto as a secretary when she graduates.
   
SHARON ELLIOTT
Sharon has participated in the school band, orchestra and cadet band for three years. This year she is the secretary of the Students' Council and our class rep. She has been an active member of the 4-H for six years and is interested in church activities. Next year she plans to work in Oshawa.
   
MELODIE GIDDINGS
Melodie has played on the intramural basketball and volleyball teams in her past years at High School. She hopes to get a job either in Port Hope or Cobourg as a secretary. We wish Melodie the best of luck in her future career.
   
RUTH GRAHAM
Ruth has played on the intramural basketball and volleyball teams since grade nine. She hopes to get a job as a secretary in either Peterborough or Oshawa. We wish Ruth the best of luck in her chosen career.
   
DONALD GRIMSHAW
Don is the treasurer for the Boys' Athletic Association and he is also our BAA rep. This year he is playing senior basketball. He plans to join the RCAF or work in an office.
   
BARBARA HALFORD
Barb came to this school from Cobourg to start Grade 11. Last year she was the class rep for the Blue 'n' White. She enjoys bowling and skating. She is hoping to work as a stenographer.
   
MARGARET HALL
She has spent her four years of high school at PHHS. In her junior years she played on the intramural basketball and volleyball teams. She hopes to obtain a position in an office in Port Hope when she finishes school.
   
JANE HARNESS
Jane is another member in our class who is small in stature, but contributes much in her own way. Jane has played Intramural volleyball and basketball and has been in the Glee Club.
   
DORIS HRYNIUKA
Doris has been in the Glee Club and the Referee Clinic. She has also been playing intramural volleyball and basketball. She hopes to work in an office after completing this year.
   
LINDA JOHNS
During her school life Linda has participated in intramural sports. Although her plans for the future are still not definite, she plans to obtain a position in Port Hope.
   
CAROL KERR
Carol plans to attend Shaw's Business College in Toronto. She has been in the Dramatics Society and has played intramural sports. She also enjdys riding horses.
   
BARBARA LOWRY
Barb, a 'country girl', has spent all her days at Port Hope High School. She has always participated in intramural games and enjoys music and reading. Upon graduation she hopes to work in Peterborough or Oshawa. We wish her the best of luck.
   
GAMEY LYCETT
Gamey played football for the High School Senior Team this year. He also is a hockey player and a Cadet in the School Corps. Future plans are undecided.
   
CAROL McCARTNEY
Carol came to PHHS in Grade 11. She helped our class volleyball team this year. For recreation she likes to paint. Everyone wishes her the best of luck in the future.
   
GORDON NEWMAN
He has been in Air Cadets for a number of years. This year he is taking weight training and trying out for wrestling. Next year he hopes to work in a bank.
   
DONALD OLIVER
In the past Don has served on the Students' Council and the BAA. This year he is a member of the wrestling team. Next year he plans to work for a construction company.
   
BARBARA RILEY
Barb is the famed 'Blonde' of 12G. She hails from Dunton High, Montreal. She has participated in intramural sports and was in the Dramatics Society. This year she is on the Blue 'n' White staff.
   
ELVA ROBINSON
Elva is another of the more quiet and serious students. She is always prepared for class and pushing ahead. Next year she will be a great asset to some fortunate employer.
   
JOY-ANN RUSSELL
Always played in all intramural games throughout her stay in our school. Joy-Ann hopes to work in town before venturing to the big cities.
   
NELLIE SCHOLTES
Nellie, who came to PHHS about three years ago, has been very active in Dramatics, Blue 'n' White, and many sports, including the Junior Basketball team, Gymnastics and all intramural sports. Next year she hopes to be working in an office, preferably General Motors.
   
DOUGLAS SMITH
Has returned to PHHS after two years at work. This year he is the secretary for the Blue 'n' White and he even found time to referee for the Wrestling Club.
   
BONNIE SOBLE
The past year Bonnie has been in the Dramatics Society. This year she has played in Intramural sports. Her ambition is to work in an office
   
GLORIA WATSON
Is one of the members of the Inter-mural basketball team. In the past years she has worked on the Blue 'n' White. We wish her the best of luck in her chosen career.
   
EVELYN WOODMAN
Has been an active member of the inter-mural teams since Grade 9. She is planning to work in Toronto, to become a secretary.
   
GWEN WRAIGHT
Comes from Courtice, she was on the Senior Girls Basketball Team and also played in Intramural basketball and volleyball. Gwen is pert and pretty, she livens the class up in the dullest hours of our work.
