Form News
Hi! Have you ever heard of the notorious 11C of Room 224?
Well, let me introduce you. First, there's our Girls AA rep, Jo-Anne Davis and Boys AA rep, John Smith. Brenda Anderson, our Students' Council Rep won over Alan Trew in the elections, and our Blue 'n' White Rep, is yours truly, Betty Boughen.
Have you ever had four Smith's in your form? Well, we have - John and Bill Smith, who are brothers, Ken Smith, who's just a cousin, and Doug Smith, who's no relation.
Jane Downey and Chris Robinson really enjoy themselves in Math classes. Sometimes I wonder how Miss Whiteway stands it (11C Math class, I mean).
I wonder how Barry always manages to get Mr Gourley disturbed with those very simple questions of his? Everyone, especially Brenda Scott, remembers the day that Scott R fell, (or was it pushed?) from his seat in English class.
And poor Jack Jones, he never gets a chance to talk in Mr Roberts' class. Even before he gets his mouth open, he is told by Mr Roberts to be quiet.
I can never understand how Bob Gifford always solves those Math problems. Maybe he has a built-in computer.
Phil Strong is our one and only who plays in the band. He's really great on the drums.
I wonder why Jane Skerratt and Diana Plousos are always running down to Miss Brownie's room? The industrious Shirley de la Perrelle is in charge of the girls' gym team. Ron Sproule always gets along well in English and so does Bob Mercer, unless he gets caught playing cards. Lola Andrus must be thanked for her hard work on the costumes for the play 'Dear Brutus.'
Linda Ross never seems to get a chance to talk to Bill Smith in French class. Talking about Bill, Jean Bates can never leave him alone in English either. Our home-room teacher is the ever-patient Miss Allison.
Well, that's our class. I really hope these future adults do well in the world, they really deserve it. Thanks, kids, for a wonderful year of Grade Eleven.
Betty Boughen
