Form News

We're proud of Port Hope 'High'
Especially for 10C,
And we'll try to tell you why
So you can plainly see.

We wonder what Ron will do
As the years go drifting by;
Will he be a Mechanic, Minister, or Repair Man?
He is really an ambitious guy.

Jim Boate will be a Draftsman;
Gary Lonsberry would like that too.
Gary Campbell is full of mischief;
I wonder what he will do.

Don Cappler won't decide in a hurry,
Because he is the serious type -
Whatever it is, he will make it,
And everything will turn out right.

Don Croft will be a Radio Announcer,
Just you wait and see.
And maybe Bill Windross will join him,
Or, do you think they would agree?

We're all proud of Sam Haskill
Who has hockey fans galore;
Don Ramsey never misses a game
And can always guess the score.

An Airforce band came to our school,
And everyone was impressed.
Allen Lee will be a pilot,
And maybe some of the rest.

Bob Hill will be a Lawyer
And a really good one too.
Don Moore has not decided yet
Just what he will do.

Pat Davis may be a singer,
Helen - her accompanist, who knows?
While Mary Jiggins may be a teacher,
Or poetry compose.

Nixon, Taylor, and Wilson
Have been friends down through the years
So I guess we'll have to call them:
'The Three Musketeers'.

Gary Challice may be a Doctor;
John Hannah, a Dentist in view?
Marion Osborne may be a nurse
And Elaine Scott with her too.

In comic opera, Irene Lee
Will win praise and great applause.
Wayne Throop will go to Parliament,
And help to make the Laws.

Yes, Douglas is a timid man,
As timid men do go.
Though Waghorn funned him to his face,
He never struck a blow.

Wayne Scott from Scotland came
To hear Myrna tell the score;
Sharon, Shirley and Gail are waiting patiently
She was with Ted the night before.

Although 10C is a good class,
Lloyd Heard is never quiet;
He's a boy with plenty of pep;
He and Pat cause many a riot.

Sharon Roberts is our Student Council Rep,
And was well chosen so to be.
While Lynn Rowland was the Athletic Rep,
Both are capable, you'll agree.

So here's to our class for I960,
May 'Fortune' smile on you,
And may your future be just as you wish,
And may all your good dreams come true.

Ron Ashby
