Best All Round Girl and Boy 1940

These prizes are awarded by the Principal and the High School Board; and the winners are picked by the Staff of the school.
In making the awards the Staff takes into account the activities of the recipients throughout their School Career.

The award is based on the following points:
1 · Academic achievment.
2 · General appearance, ie, neatness, carriage, etc.
3 · Classroom deportment, ie, tidiness, promptness, conduct, courtesy to teachers and fellow students.
4 · Punctuality and regularity of habits, acceptance of responsibility.
5 · Interest in and support given extra curricular activities, such as the various school games, Literary Society, etc.

And lastly whether the chosen girl or boy will be a credit to his or her school, and the community when he or she graduates and takes up the duties of a Canadian Citizen.
